My view of Nyala riding my bike to work at the FT Bedford Estate on Beachside Ave during the summers in the late ‘50s and early ‘60s
This is exactly how I remember this, having grown up in Greens Farms in the 50’s and 60’s. I’m glad it has stayed untouched. Thank you for sharing this
The open space is there due to efforts of the Greens Farms Association to protect it when Stauffer Chemical built the Nyala Farms office complex. The restrictions protecting it are in the deed itself and a special permit. Neighbors with the support of the Greens Farms Association right now are engaging Bridgewater Associates to ensure the open space continues to be undisturbed. Bridgewater is “nipping away” at the space and needs to be reined in from doing so.

P.S. one day I was poised to take this same shot standing on the wall around the property and a car pulled up. It was a Bridgewater security guard informing me I could not take photos!!
