Pic Of The Day #2471

John Richers writes: “Last week, Gloria washed up below Compo Beach Road, a stone’s throw from the Minuteman statue. Today the historic vessel finds herself again on Compo Beach Road, now within sight of the colonial cemetery near Quentin Road. It seems the old girl has a thing for Westport colonial history.” (Photo/John Richers)

Seems she is still loving to travel around Westport too! She’s telling us her voyages are not over yet.

  2. pretty sure that i have read here that there was an owner after Alan, who is still likely the owner. that person should do the right thing and clean up the mess. a couple 06880 readers have posted offering their help over the years to which it was apparently ignored. the honda engine may have fallen off and sitting in wet lands leaking oil/fuel? the town can also perhaps just clean it up and bill the owner?

The vessel is in two parts. The part with the motor and supplies is secure and on land. Relocation of the front portion will be relocated to a secure location ASAP
