How lovely to see photos of the oft-neglected sunrise. I never heard of Schlaet’s Point and wonder if the color I see on the rocks in the foreground is a reflection of it. How beautiful the water from the sound looks at Compo Beach lit up by the colors of the sunrise.

Schlaet’s Point is the stretch of Hillspoint Road from Soundview Drive to the only house between Compo and Old Mill Beaches.

Thank you for the link, Dan. I was surprised at the pic of the fallen gazebo. I liked the one if the grounds though with what I take to be a fountain. It is odd there is little mention of Schlaet in Wikipedia, a website I donated about $180 to last year because I turn to it so often for information. I only remember Compo and Burying Hill Beaches, not Old Mill. As you might know, there are no beaches in Tucson.
