    I am so glad almost all of these images are in the jpg format so I can save them rather than the web page format I can’t. This way, I can download them to my laptop as wallpaper so I can enjoy the beauty of the town I used to live in such as these gulls or the entrance to Longshore Country Club.

      You can save web images. It’s just a little more complicated, and entails editing the image once it’s saved. Google it!

        Thank you, Dan, but my understanding was you cannot save them on a Chromebook since it uses Chrome, not Windows. If I could save them using a different procedure, I’d still rather stick with something I know how to do and only save jpeg photos.
