Even though I have moved to the beach in Venice. Fl., I still miss my life living at the Old Mill Beach. This looks so inviting. But I remember the day in Dec, when I almost was swept away by waves as I tried to rescue my car from the “Unnamed December Storm”. Can’t remember the year but in the 1990s. Love your column
That was a big one — 1992 or ’93, I think. It inundated downtown.
