Classic cars – that was fun! Look at the first and oldest one, a Ford I think, and notice the things we don’t have anymore – running boards, real fenders, whitewall tires, real bumpers, and vent-windows with the front side windows. (That side mirror looks like an add-on.) Of course the fenders and running boards made for very cramped interiors.
Top black 1938-39 Ford sedan Deluxe looks a lot like my Staples High Downshifters ride. It had a “full race “‘53 Ford flathead with 3 Stromberg 97 carbs. Mom sold it when I went to college!
As an old-car buff (and an old car buff), I was hoping to be the first to comment here, but Peter and Charles beat me to it. I was going to say: 38 Ford, 54 Chevy Corvette, 57 Ford sedan. Amirite?
It’s a 1957 fuelie automatic Corvette
@julia gross: I stand corrected….
