    There’s a great tale that made the NYT in the 80s about deadman’s brook… it involved quick action heroics to save a classmate from drowning

    I remember back in the 70’s there was an amazing old home on Violet Ln on the Brook. It looked like it must have been built in the 1800’s, had crooked floors etc…Was it torn down for something new to be built? I think it was the first house on the street across from La Crepe…
