In the 70’s I was in a rubber raft on Lee’s Pond and my girlfriend said something along the lines of “Look at the pretty swan sitting on the shore. Let’s go have a closer look.” You can imagine what happened next. One really pissed-off big white bird attacked us and trying to defend ourselves with a plastic oar and paddle away at the same time was… really unpleasant. Plus I’m sure we were high.
Ah, memories!
