“Stop Asian Hate” Rally Set For Saturday

A group of Westporters, working with 1st Selectman Jim Marpe and Police Chief Foti Koskinas, have organized a peaceful gathering this Saturday (March 27).

At 10 a.m., the community is invited to come together at Jesup Green, in a show of solidarity against racism and discrimination toward Asian-Americans and Pacific Islanders. Social distancing and masks are required.

  1. Hear, hear! Solidarity against racism and discrimination toward Asian-Americans. Yet China is increasingly viewed by many Americans as not just an assertive rival but a geopolitical arsonist. Now there’s a new source of cognitive dissonance for us all to carefully wrestle with.

I guess you missed the part where it states they are Asian-AMERICAN. It’s this narrative that is utter nonsense. China, China, China. As far as geopolitical arson, look no further than the USA, it is we who have our boot print’s all over the world.
