Pics Of The Day #1210

How did you spend your post-Isaias Day 5?

Doerte Inett’s family was visited by a “fantastic crew” from Nova Scotia. They took care of a tree that fell on the power line on their Sturges Highway property — and restored power. Their 10-month old supervised, from the screen porch.

Dan, Any word on the cell tower repairs? I’m on Verizon Wireless and still don’t have service at Kings Highway South. If you call them they tell you they are making repairs but provide no other info. Thanks for keeping us all informed. Much Appreciated

    • Thanks for the update, Linda. Unfortunately I don’t know anything about Verizon. Readers, any help you can offer would be appreciated!

Linda I’m sorry you still don’t have service.
I thought when County St, which turns into Kings Highway South, was energized along with the huge repair of the massive tree leaning on the wires and communication cables on US RT 1 across from Marion Rd area would get your area up and running.
This is just my observation, I think the big culprit is the tangled mess of wires and cables down on Treadwell just past Indian Hill Rd on the right hand side.
There’s a bunch of cellular carriers attached to the what we call the microwave tower in Norwalk that should cover your area.
