The weather was gorgeous this afternoon.

But this was the scene on Long Lots Road, near Turkey Hill.

    That’s the tree that almost crushed our car today. It was like a scene out of a movie. It literally grazed our car as it fell with no warning. My kids and I had to pull over to the side of the road because there’s nothing like a near death experience to get your blood pumping.

    Yikes. Most of us don’t understand the power of falling wood until it hits close like this. Glad everybody’s OK.
