Slyly humorous. Were this a painting by Norman Rockwell, it might have been entitled “The Weekender”.
I prefer to believe this individual is striking the same poise many men do in the Men’s room. No beach in America competes with such foolish sign placement, their size, or their frequency of use. Sad.
Great observation about the sign clutter, Eric. Btw, there is a pending proposal to do the same thing to downtown. It’s called Wayfinding and its supporters claim it’s necessary because downtown is such a confusing place to navigate. Really? Sad.
