What an awesome photo!!
Great pix, beautiful bird. Paul, special camera or smartphone (if the later, that’s impressive)?
Spectacular photos Paul!!
Thank you!!
great photos!
First time I have ever seen an eagle in the creek in our 16 years here!
Way too tough a shot for a smartphone. I went old school: NIKON D7000 SLR f/5.6 1/2500/sec 300mm at ISO800
we have 3 nesting families within 100 yards of my house here in Langley, Wa.
they are great birds to watch.
Yes, indeed. They are a regular part of nature here, too, in southern BC.
A lucky sight, as herons in flight.
Gorgeous pics!
Absolutely super, beautiful photos. Imagine he might winter over because the tidal creek breaks up the ice and he’ll be able to fish. One did years ago, safely living on Finches Island. Lovely sight.
BUELL NEIDLINGER – DO YOU OR DID YOU HAVE A RELATIVE NAMED OLGA?
Breathtakingly beautiful! Thank you, Paul.
And Dan!
Not long ago, a friend and I saw a bald eagle fly a length of the Saugatuck River. It was a majestic sight.
Absolutely fantastic. The color, everything. We have a nesting pair not far from us and we love each sighting but this s special, the snow, ice the color of the sky and water. Award winning photo.
Fantastic! Thanks for sharing!
It’s a privlage to have such a majestic bird in our town! Great pic Paul.
Majestic!
