Miss the place. We used to play a lot of polo there in the old days.
Love this photo. Such a great place to go and see the beautiful horses.
I was run away with more times than I can count on that wonderful field. So many fond memories!
Beautiful photo and a lovely horse. Thanks for posting it.
Fabulous !!
A public or private club now?
Still a very exclusive, Private club. I used to live just down the street. I rebuilt the stone wall around the property when I was 17. it was knocked apart in places several times since then… That’s either a very big kid, or a very small horse 😉
I used to hang out there when I was much younger. Great place to go just to watch the horses and the people riding them.
Bravo Dan Woog!
Honestly, what ever happened to taking caring
Of Nature and being good stewards for all her creatures big and small?
What’s next? A ban on chipmunks or egrets?
TODAY:
Go plant a seedling
Hug a mature tree (if the Town has left any standing!)
Plant a few trays of happy pansies
Than God we have oxygen to breathe
A fabulous town to live in
And intelligent and savvy Westporters to call neighbors
Let the coyotes be…
Be your Higher Self
