Today marked the 5,272nd consecutive rainy/cloudy/blah spring day this month.
But that did not deter the crowds thronging the Westport Garden Club‘s annual plant sale, at Saugatuck Congregational Church.
After all, as every gardener knows: This is perfect planting weather!
Also today was national public garden day. Alot of public gardens were open for free today…some are free all weekend. Thus is a country wide event. Let’s all celebrate spring! Plant sale looks like fun!
Indeed, May is the month to concentrate on gardens. Be happy it’s a bit rainy (unlike northern Alberta)… perfect weather to plant.
p.s. what’s the story/joke behind 5,272?
