    I’m thinking bathroom emergency.

  2. I’ll never understand what people are thinking – or not thinking! – when they “park” like this. Clearly, they’re not thinking of others. Or thinking …period.

I’ve lived in Southern California for 35 years and we have some pretty messed up drivers and freeway situations. But you guys have some truly messed up drivers. I’ve never seen anyone in La La Land park the way some of your pictures show in Westport!!!!! It’s really unbelievable!?!? What are these people thinking? Are they THAT arrogant?

    Dear Dan,

Somewhere in my distant past, and indeed it seems to recede further and further away, I think I knew that publicity was the only thing that corrected the behaviour of wife or child abusers.

That said, perhaps photographs of cars that park like this together with their license plate and then the name of the owner (thank you to the police department) might ensure that such behaviour is not repeated again.

I suggest this as I presume you do not send us these photos merely for our amusement or annoyance at the endless anti-social behaviour of our neighbors.

    Best regards,

    Joey

    CVS=pharmacy. Think about it.
These bad parking stories, more so the comments, are reminiscent of Trump rallies. Be careful. The world is watching/reading.

Thanks! After watching a report about a Trump rally I really needed the chuckle.

Everyone says the world is laughing at us right now because of Trump. I don’t think so. I think they’re just as scared as most of us are thinking he could actually be President of the United States and wondering who we Americans really are! I’m an American and I question who we are every night watching his numbers rise….

      I agree with you.

I don’t know who I am voting for. It makes me laugh that you guys are scared of trump and what he can do. How about Hilliary or Bernie and what they could do to this country. Clinton says she’s for women and all her bullshit. Yet her husband mistreated women for years and years and all she did is blamed the women. Wake up and understand that all these candidates are a disgrace to our country .the country is in bad shape because of democrats and republicans stop blaming each other. We can’t keep giving Americans free stuff.you shouldn’t be penalized for being successful.

  8. No front plate, so not from NE at least

By the way, what do you suppose the person in the red vehicle is doing while apparently blocking the exit lanes from the plaza? “Standing” across the exit lane while waiting for their passenger to take the picture of the badly parked vehicle or making left turn to back lot and suddenly realized they needed to yield to car entering from Post Road. Hopefully the latter. Otherwise, that would be rude too.

Every time I have seen something this egregious, it’s been someone forgetting to set a parking break on a manual transmission. In any case, this is just one of the many reasons why their entire parking lot scares me.

I’d like to think that maybe they just ran out of gas so close to their destination? Ha-ha.

The longer I lived in WP (all told -30 some years) the worse the parking got! As most of the comments say – “what are these people thinking” – Yes -some don’t think, BUT my personal opinion is that alot of them are plain arrogant and can do anything they want!! During my years of living there, at times also ran into arrogant people in stores – which I’m sure many of you have also
Dan, you should see if the police dept ever reads these – it should be mandatory (ha) for them to do so and take down license plate # etc
Personally, I would be embarrassed if my car was caught doing something like this – BUT – again that doesn’t bother many people!
