Brad Tursi Makes National TV Debut

It’s been quite a year for Old Dominion.

The Nashville-based country band — including lead guitarist (and Staples High School Class of 1997 soccer star)Brad Tursi — was named Sirius XM “Breakthrough Artist of the Year.”

They played 185 shows.

And this morning they made their national TV debut on the “Today Show.”

Old Dominion played their biggest hit, “Break Up With Him,” to great acclaim.

Now just wait for 2016!

  1. Don’t forget Brad’s excellent work with local bands including Cyrus. 🙂 They’ve also written some hit songs for other artists. “…racked up five No. 1 singles for artists including Dierks Bentley, Kenny Chesney and Blake Shelton.”

  2. Hey Dan! I found the direct link here:

  3. Way to go Brad! For those who don’t know, multi-talented Brad was also a First-Team All-FCIAC soccer player back in the day, helping lead the 1996 Staples soccer team to an FCIAC title and runner-up in the state tournament (where he teamed with another midfielder who has gone on to become a nationally recognized TV personality, Kyle Martino).
