Oh My 06880 — Photo Challenge #49

Wheeler House — home of the Westport Historical Society — is the most famous old structure on Avery Place.

But don’t overlook the beautiful blue building across the street.

Elaine Marino, Diane Silfen and Julia Schorr have not. That’s how they knew that last week’s photo challenge showed intricate details from the historic front door of what’s now a medical office, directly opposite the WHS. (Click here to see Lynn U. Miller’s photo, and readers’ guesses and comments.)

This week’s photo challenge is quite different. If you think you know where in Westport you can find it, click “Comments” below.

  1. Looks like the signs in the freezer area of Stop and Shop Grocery Store. Where all the ice cream, frozen fruit pops and frozen yogurt. They’re a variety of signs all along the freezer area. This one is on the floor I believe in front of the freezer door.

  2. Nancy Hunter Wilson

Choral music composed by American Alice Jordan!

  3. Wow!! Awesome! I didn’t buy anything from the ice cream area that day but the signs on the floor caught my attention and I walked over to look at what it said. Thinking… new marketing Stick it on the Floor.

They are actually called “Floor Talkers” in marketing lingo. They’re like FatHead’s, for the ground, lol.
