Awesome photo Dan! And … been there, done exactly that!
Looks like a temporary sign. However, at Burying Hill Beach, a permanent sign reads, “No Life Guards on Duty.” Forever?
The sign is placed on every lifeguard stand every day at 6 pm, when the guards go off duty.
At 9AM today with swimmers in the water and the security person checking permits? And the sign is on the same post as the Handicapped Parking post? No, this is permanent (picture sent to Dan)
Other way around. The lifeguards place a placard with the beach regulations over the permanent signage when they are on duty from 10-6
Next time, I will arrive at 10:05.
