Let it never be said that Miggs  Burroughs does not have a sense of humor.

The artist/graphic designer/obsessive pro bono logo contributor to Westport organizations sent out this email alert today:

This weekend (Saturday, July 20, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, July 21, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.), I will be in the Westport Fine Arts Festival, administering free CPR for up to 1 minute, to anyone collapsing from heat stroke in my booth (#69).

If you already own a piece of my work, I will administer CPR for up to 3 minutes. It’s a win-win for everyone.

At least, I think he’s kidding.

    Will he also be available with cold water for all the dogs people will bring to the event from the comfort of their air conditioned homes? 🙁

    Stay cooler[er]. Come to the Westport Library book sale, which opens at 9 AM Saturday and runs through Tuesday. Art and photography books inside (air-conditioned comfort) and everything else under the sun-shaded tents.

    Miggs’ great artistic talent may have been aided genetically. Esta, a great lady of literature, and Bernie, illustrator deluxe. I wish I could be there for the Art, the CPR and just to chat with Miggs.
