Will Corcoran is a normal 15-year-old. He plays basketball, swims, and (of course) enjoys video games.
He also has major medical problems, including cystic fibrosis.
Now Will — a Weston resident — needs a liver transplant.
Volunteers — who should know that their own liver will regenerate — must be between 18 and 55, and have:
- Blood type A or O
- Good overall physical and emotional health
- Insurance (for follow-up or long-term complications).
- BMI under 28
Will is a wonderful young man (click here for a great video).
His mother says simply, “A donation in the next couple of months would be great. It would allow my son to get back to the business of being a 15-year-old boy, in all of its pleasures and challenges!”

What a wonderful post, Dan. I hope their phone is ringing off the hook.
I don’t meet any of the listed criteria or I’d volunteer in a second.
