Speaking of signs, I have been trying to find out the meaning of one on the manicure place behind Carvel. It says something like: Get a pedicure with a free manicure or eyebrows.
Can anyone tell me what I need to pay for and what I will get free? Funny thing is that this phrase is on at least two professionally printed signs.
Buy a cake a Carvel, eat it while you inhale the fumes from the pedicure and you won’t have to worry about anything else.
The team, Michael and Lloyd [Double L] have both great produce and great senses of humor. Seafood is top notch. SHOP EARLY, the stuff is fresh, but sometimes limited… or call them… they will hold it for ya.
Lloyd’s frequent emails are among the most creative writing around town. Some are lyric poetry, some merely written infomercials announcing the day’s or week’s offerings, but they always bring a knowing smile to the reader’s face and occasionally a small out loud chuckle.
And of course the foodstuffs for sale are fabulous.
Stop by, try some fruit, veggies, fish and meat and be certain to sign up for the emails.
I love Lloyd & Michael. What else can I say?
