If you are the kind of person who will freak out if you see one more !@#$%^&* snowflake this year, stop reading now.
Because here is Friday’s forecast:
Snow likely. Highs in the upper 20s. Chance of snow 70 percent.
As the old saying goes: “It never rains but it pours.”
What’s that website say? How many inches? School closed?
Too much tension!!!
Chill.
I know lots of people feel differently, but I LIKE snow. It’s beautiful to look at, it creates some unpredictability in our lives, it’s something we can’t “control,” and it makes me feel like a kid again. Plus, hearing kids and their parents shrieking with joy as they slide down the hill in the park across the street makes my heart and soul smile.
I’ve often talked about how it seemed that it snowed bigger and deeper when I was a kid. Someday, all of today’s Westport children will say the same thing to their own kids.
To me, snow is an adventure – there’s so little adventure in everyday life these days (at least not in my life). So…I like snow. Bring it on.
Plus…we live in New England, and it’s winter. Maybe we should get used to it!
Dan, I have noticed yo have taken the snowflakes off your site!
Bring on the snow! It’s the Northeast in winter. Instead of complaining move to the Carolinas or Florida. More Snow!!
Amen!
Keep these storms coming!
It would be nice to actually have a snowpack throughout winter.
Without it, the landscape just looks dead.
I’m going to start a collection where I rent a bus and send all the whiners on a one way trip to Miami where they belong!
Civility? LOL
I LOVE the snow! The way it looks, smells , feels and best of all how it sounds. there is a peacefulness about it that sounds like butterfly wings on a a window. When it first snows everything looks new and fresh. the smell is crisp and clean. Thats why I love it!
stay in,stay safe and cuddle up with a cup of tea and agood movie and enjoy mother natures surprise.
Obviously, you don’t have to shovel your own driveway.
Dan last time (18 years ago 92/93) we had a lunar eclipse in December as we did this year we had a record season of snow falls and crazy amounts of storms. Coincidence???!!!
