Is there still a school next to the church? I got my First Holy Communion there in 1954 before Saint Luke’s was built. I’m pretty sure that there was a school there.
Lovely photo. Jack – the school became condos many years ago. But they were well done.
Hi T..The convent became condos. The school still operates as a school, but no longer Assumption Parochial..
Ah! The Home Parish is under New (er) Management!!. Good for the school (who operates it?) and the convent as condos — example for housing modifications through out Westport?? Old Saugatuck was going condos when my mother was alive. What other buildings might qualify?
Happy Christmas & Merry New Year to all posters & our host Dan.
