On some private roads, all the mailboxes are the same. On some roads, they’re not.
But at least they’re always in order.
Well, almost always. The ones on High Gate Road, off Maple Avenue South, are different sizes — and very random.

I can’t imagine a plausible explanation for this.
Not even alcohol.
Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor having numbers in a sequence that doesn’t follow a logical progression stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds…
