Doggone It! Festival Postponed

Predictions of weather not fit for man or beast have pushed Westport’s 1st-ever Dog Festival back a week.

The new date is Sunday, June 12. Same time and place: 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Winslow Park.

    Probably a wise decision to postpone until next Sunday. I hear it will be raining cats and dogs tomorrow.

    “Bring Your Dog to Work” day is the first Friday after Father’s Day (June 24 this year). Woof!

    (John will be glad to know that Bring Your Cat to Work Day is, I think, June 25 this year. Sorry, the exact date is, uh, finicky. Rain or shine!)
