Friday Flashback #516

We’ve mentioned before how rocky Compo Beach was — for nearly all its existence.

Not until a major public works project in the late 1950s/early ’60s did Compo become the sandy “beach” we know and love today.

But how rocky was it?

Check out this (undated) photo. And wear your flip flops.

Or army boots.
