The Westport Library’s logo — 3 dots (an ellipsis), suggesting “more to come” — is simple, yet effective.
It’s visible throughout the building. Sometimes it’s clear. Other times, it’s much more subtle.
The round light fixtures in the Trefz Forum, for example, have slightly different tints — in groups of 3.
Then there’s the large clock on the outside wall of the 2nd-floor Children’s Library.
It was last week’s Photo Challenge. Every guess was correct. Congratulations to Dan Vener, Lynn Untermeyer Miller, Ed Simek, Jonathan McClure, Gloria Gouveia, Seth Schachter, Andrew Colabella, Robert Mitchell and Roz Siegel.
But wait! How is it part of the Library’s logo?
Twice a day — at 9:15 a.m. and p.m. — the “dots” align perfectly.
Click here for yesterday’s Photo Challenge (though my image did not catch it perfectly).
Don’t say you never learn anything from “06880.”
We’re back outdoors for this week’s Photo Challenge. Click “Comments” if you know where in Westport you’d see this.
