And — for the 2nd time ever — an air-cooled event.
This Saturday (May 14, 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.), Dragone Classic Motorcars on Post Road West sponsors a special show just for air-cooled autos.
And folks who love them.

It’s a different vibe from the EV and Concours shows. This one attracts folks who do most of their own work on their cars, and are eager to “talk shop.”
There are plenty of them. Last year’s inaugural event drew nearly 100 cars: vintage air-cooled VWs, and their high-strung cousin Porsches. Plus Corvairs, dune buggies, micro-buses and the like.
The sponsor is SmallCarCompany.org — the club named for the old VW dealership on the current site of Dragone.
Admission is free. Airheads of all ages are welcome. There’s food, and a 50-50 raffle benefiting Homes With Hope.
It’s a great day. Plus, these guys know how to drive.
You won’t see them parking like overly entitled d-bags.
