Pics Of The Day #2176

What impresses me with John’s photos is how huge the harbor is, almost twice what it was in the early 1950s. But what is curious is that when the harbor was smaller there were bigger boats, 40 to 50 feet. They were tied to the shore and the smaller boats were on string moorings in the center. Today the slips suggest that ALL the boats are in the 20s and low 30s. And the big boats go across the bay to Saugatuck Shores.
