Are these the new condos on the save the Childrens Property0n Wilton Road?
I was wondering that too. And the term Bankside House sounds peculiar. Does that mean the side of the river and the river bank? A bit redundant, no? Or maybe the House IS a Bank.
Yes, the new condos on the old Save the Children site on Wilton Road.
The Bankside Farmers were five colonial farmers whose holdings were on the east bank of the Saugatuck.

Interesting. Good to know.
somewhat reminiscent of the Gorham Island monstrosity
Wow; a Yonkers apartment building right here in Westport…just what the hell we needed.
Merritt 7 comes to Westport. Industrial strength “architecture”
Yonkers wish’s it was lucky enough to have a Roger Ferris designed building.
And so as to set the record straight:
The building once completed will not be black. What you see now if the exterior waterproofing which will be covered by a maintenance free rain screen
In my opinion, this is one of the most creative and beautiful designs. 12 residences, no shared walls, windows on all four sides and ample outdoor space.
The name denotes it’s location on the West Bank of the Saugatuck. That said, liked reading about the Bankside Farmers. Learn something new every day.
Eye of the beholder and all that, David.
