At Old Mill Beach, she spotted a serene scene. Quietly, she took a photo.

The man turned, and looked at her. Patricia apologized for interrupting his moment. She told him she appreciates seeing people looking so peaceful — especially in these challenging times.
He laughed and said, “There’s nothing peaceful or serene about me right now. I’m a nervous wreck. I’m waiting for my girlfriend, to propose to her!”
Patricia smiled. “Let me be the first to congratulation you,” she said. “You got this!”
PS: Let’s hope he did.

Yesterday, the day of this photo, my parents were married in 1943. I thought about them during the day. Of course I am going to take that as a good sign. Still, the best sign is choosing a beautiful spot that changes every day so you are drawn to return.
Great story! Without knowing anything more that what’s here, I have an instinct that Ms. McMahon is right and that this fellow’s going to get the answer he’s hoping for. Maybe Dan could look him up next week and post a happy follow-up. We could all use some good news right now, even if it’s vicarious!
