    I remember in the 1960’s it was a haven gor rats. Still there?

    In about a dozen trips to the beach there and many circumnavigations, I haven’t seen one. There are many hundreds of nesting seabirds of all types on that island – a large rat population (or other predator) would seem unlikely.
