Pic Of The Day #797

The transformed Westport Library opened today. One key feature: a new entrance on Jesup Green. Moments before the ribbon-cutting, youngsters enjoy the once-overlooked sculpture nearby. (Photo/Dan Woog)

    Love this photo!

I am inspired, and feel that therein lies a possible narrative which could become a good script for a youthful story/screen-play of sorts.

Or, I’m just loving the pic, and the rest is late night musings.

    Yep, late night musings.

    Good shot, Dan!

  2. Great picture, but not a new outlet for the kids. My grandchildren climb on this for years, and in the trees surrounding it. I have always loved this sculpture and am happy to see that it has not been removed.

Now that the library’s reopen, it looks like our town work of art—“Charities” by Chuck Ginnever— is “interactive” too!
