    Wow, what a great perspective!

And the color … hmmm … something “new” going on here with this image that I can’t quite describe.

Perhaps because it’s a fresh capture from a new young photographer?

    Thanks for sharing Dan!

Aiden, you have an artists eye for composition and color. Great picture.

The picture brings back memories since I used to pass by the train station almost daily to go to the post office.

Great image. This is actually the Hemsted designed Building No. 53 Signal Tower – built for the NY&NH RR, c.1915. It helped control the AC power which was being generated by turbines down at Cos Cob for what was really the first major electrified rail line in the nation. The American Society of Mechanical Engineers designated it a National Historic Engineering Landmark in 1982. That notwithstanding, it’s incrementally being ignored to death.

This image required many choices on the part of the artist: perspective, what to leave in/what to leave out, composition. It is complex and yet reads easily. Well done!! Keep going!

This is a perfect example of photography as an art form. What a future you have ahead, Aiden!
