Parking is always tight in the State Cleaners lot (corner of Post Road and Imperial Avenue).
It’s even tougher when some Entitled Asshat takes up not just two, but three — 3! — spaces.
Please, don’t post a comment saying, “Maybe it was an emergency.”
I’ve never heard of a dry cleaning, picture framing or Rich Dean boxing emergency.
Clearly, this is a student practicing parallel parking. I think he is doing a great job.
Just a privileged person that moved to Westport from NYC.
And you base that on what, exactly?
Why not post a picture of the license plate?
I’ll just be a minute …
Earlier today, Governor Lamont announced a proposed “distracted parking contribution fee” to help address the state’s sagging financial condition. The money from the initiative would be split evenly between the municipality and Hartford. Several real estate experts have expressed concern.
Dan, I hate to disagree with you, but you’ve probably never spilled coffee on your $17,000 dollar custom made suit, and had to rush to the cleaners like most of us have on 06880! So it could be an emergency cleaners run.
The Being So Special Attitude , allows them to park Anywhere …
Oooph! I love that word: asshat. Thank you. As for your subject matter this morning, oooph again, spot-on. Asshat.
Pointless without the plate photo.
He must have thought he owned the building and this was his parking space! I may have to leave a note for him! 🤪
License Plate and name would hopefully do the trick if they can be shamed. Or, they might have no shame.
Maybe time for a Westport ass-hat parking wall of shame?
A photo with the license plate is a good suggestion for future Asshats. All 06880 paparazzi’s take note. Dan, then we need an Asshat Wall of Shame that 06880 can publish periodically.
That’s an asshat statement!
Parrallel axle parking don’t you know! Very slick….
I’m so glad to know that since I’ve moved, only New York drivers are rude. Used to have a few of our own.
More than a few.
How, in one of the most privileged, entitled communities on the planet, does this even merit comment.? To most of the world, this is the perfect metaphor for its own context. Tragedy of the Commons. The Human Condition perfectly expressed in two white lines and an SUV. Oh! The Humanity!
I agree with Tom Cook…wall of shame…Stew Leonard used to have one in the Norwalk location for bounced checks !!
