Ralph Lauren leased — but never occupied — space on Westport’s Main Street. But he hasn’t forgotten us. Here’s the holiday window at his Madison Avenue store in New York. (Photo/Liz Rueven)

Pic of the day, Really? Lame.

    • Sorry. Bitsy. A thousand apologies. I’ll try to do better tomorrow, and every day afterward.

Of course, you’ve never contributed a Pic of the Day yourself. They don’t exactly fall out of the sky. So I’d say you’re pretty lame yourself.

      Merry Christmas!

    • Actually, I think this is one of the more interesting “Pic of the Day” selections in quite a while. (And you would think their staff would know that Port Chester is two words, not one.)

      Such holiday spirit.

    • Ba Humbug!

  2. I think it’s great, adorable … always, always always good to see NYC – Westport connecting, including in our NYC store windows, Merry Christmas & Happy Chanakuah Dan ! ps (funny how I’ve been up town on Madison Ave in that area 3x since thanksgiving and it takes me looking at your blog all the way out in Westport, CT to know what’s in NYC UES windows, 😉

  3. Well, we have plenty more space Ralphie- maybe you’ll reconsider opening a store here!

Pack Roads had a decent Ralph Lauren section in the mid seventies. It was behind where he was planning the new store now TD bank.
