  1. Sad that their art studio was not better preserved.

Kindof sad to see what was likely a gorgeous property, fallen into disrepair.

Cute little barn (studio?), now out to pasture.

    A shame. ☹️

  3. Mary Maynard

When was it painted white and why?

  4. There aren’t too many views like this left in our town.

  5. Jonie Mitchell was right “tear down paradise and put up a parking lot”

  6. Bill Boyd... Staples 66

The reminders of our agrarian past are are being torn down…sad. Maybe this shed will be spared?

The developer has applied to tear down ALL the structures on this site, which is a Historic District. If you oppose this please SHOW UP at the September 11th Historic District Commission meeting to voice your support for their preservation.

  8. The developer, based in Greenwich, bought this historic property knowing full well that its continued preservation was in the public interest. What does it say that said developer reacted to this fact by pulling demo permits for EVERY structure on the property?

We can prevail here, an historic district designation has power. Get involved, support this effort. The Town will be doing all it can and, with effort, commitment and votes, this historic district can be retained.

  10. I couldn’t agree with all the comments. I was compelled to stop and take this picture. I pass it almost every day and I am in fear of the day it’s becomes a pile of wood. I want to wrap it up and take it home. I wish someone could save it. It calls to my heart in wonder of what memories it holds. Why aren’t we able to hold these mostly out of town contractors to abide our historic lands. Thank u for invitation to meeting. Plan on being there.
