…can I vote for that kid?
Many are talking experience. In most cases the incumbent has the advantage. Jim and Jen have experience. For this reason, I balanced the experience of the party candidates and hope you will all do the same to determine your own choice. Mine is my own. That said, please note Melissa has tremendous experience on the RTM, in local politics, and our community orgs, but also a business career, where she worked with large corporations such as Hearst. To boot, (and Rob is obviously too modest to post or boast) Rob has held high executive level positions for NBC and ESPN, practiced at two of the finest law firms in the nation, and boasts a Dartmouth education and a Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School. So if your vote hinges on high level managerial expertise and civic service, please note these qualifications. Melissa and Rob’s qualifications seem to have gone sadly unnoticed and acknowledged.
Ivy League education is no different from any other and should not matter.
It’s different alright.
Different? Oh, of course. Elitism does tend to outweigh education.
Just don’t let that youngster know.
Please note I was given permission to post this since the other thread was closed. I only wished to highlight credentials which were not noted. I’m thrilled we’ll have robust bipartisan leadership from a group of such great and qualified residents! Best to all.
