When I was a little kid grocery stores sold a large, flat cookie that was known as a peanut cookie. It was about 5 or 6 inches in diameter and completely covered with peanuts. To me the Town Hall looked like a gigantic peanut cookie. It still does.

Such a handsome structure and good to see that it’s has been so successfully repurposed. But that barren pole is kinda uncool. This building was born to fly the flag. Where’s the love?

I agree with Morley, and couldn’t the letters be restored? It was always a magnificent building in my opinion.
