I Figure Memorial Day

Spring arrived at 6:28 this morning.

But no matter how nice the weather gets, this pile o’ smushed-together, salted-in, iced-over snow won’t melt any time soon.

It’s not the only one. An even bigger and blacker mound looms over the Compo Shopping Center parking lot, opposite Planet Pizza.

But this photo is the one I’m running.

Because I really want to know why there’s a highway cone sitting on the hood of that Mercedes.

its the snow bank in town. We dont have enough banks

  4. Clearly, the owner of the car doesn’t want anyone parking on it.

This photo only reminds me of Spring cleaning. Fun!
The highway cone may be for sale? — another part of Spring cleaning.

p.s. A dark tarp, and/or aluminum rods might melt that mound faster(?)

I’d also suggest water spray, but wouldn’t want to be responsible for a possible drought this year. Just live with beast… who knows?

I watched as all those cars that wanted to circle around the parking lot had to turn around because they were blocked by this car that parked next to the snow pile. True you see a space on the other side of the car to pass through, however, most of the time there is a row of cars. Hence someone probably decided to place a cone on top of the car ….a friendly reminder of the inconvenience they caused.

HOW ABOUT HAVING THE GUYS WHO PLOWED IT THERE BE RESPONSIBLE FOR CARTING IT AWAY?
