A new fence appeared recently at Compo Beach. This one is located just north of the marina, by the grass fronting Compo Beach Road.
Let’s hope geese can read better than deer, who never seem to “X” near their “Deer Xing” signs.
And better than Westport drivers, near any stop sign.
Dan, I don’t think the geese will have a chance to read it as they will be flying OVER it! Unless there is some kind of invisible force field above that gate….
Good eyes as always. Actually the deer do cross on North Avenue just above the entrance to Bedford Middle. They do so just as I am coming over the hill at 11:30 p.m. each night. Spooky.
Dude,
What interesting things are you doing at 11:30 p.m. at night??
I’m usually in bed by that time reading or watching some TV. Just wondering……….
Rather personal question, don’t you think :))
I go food shopping at Stop & Shop each evening.
Best time to go. Then I quietly return to the house, enraputured in my various terrible treats I have purchased and lament to “Charlie Rose.”
Then I write from midnight to 2:00 a.m. every night. Grisham wannabe.
Dude,
I did see an interview with Grisham on the Today Show awhile back and he said the key to being a successful writer was to make sure you write every day – so I guess you’ll be published sometime soon! Legal thrillers???
Ten books of mine have been published. The issue is making money (as Grisham learned with his first book) Yet, “Fat People Are Harder to Kidnap” is out in the fall and movie rights sold already. Hope runs eternal.
Ten??? Well don’t I feel silly!!!
Well don’t feel silly, they weren’t very good either. Plus you are the sensible one!
I guess there’s no chance you’d give me the title of one of the more successful ones?
Nope. Not with Mr. Grant and Mr. Stein around. I will mail you the most recent one when it is released on Labor Day.
Good point.
