Dan Woog is a lifelong Westporter, and a graduate of Brown University. A fulltime freelance writer, his work has appeared in the New York Times, USA Today and Sports Illustrated.
His many corporate clients include Monster.com and Tauck World Discovery. He is the author of 16 books, and an award-winning columnist. “Woog’s World” has appeared in the Westport News every Friday since 1986, while his bi-weekly “The OutField” column is distributed nationally by Q Syndicate.
In his spare time he is the head coach of the Staples High School boys soccer program, a well-respected speaker — and a blogger.
