…but if they did, this shot — taken earlier today at Compo Beach — might be a great one for Westport.
If you sent this to someone, what would your message be?

“Be kind to aliens!” Or, “Wish I studied meteorology!”

“Sunshine … on my shoulders … makes me happeeeee”!
Sharon, your happiness, and good humor, always shines through!

Beware the hole in the ozone layer.
An inconvenient truth?
Ok, people, now that I have your attention I am asking you to build me an ark 300 cubits long, 50 cubits wide, and 30 cubits high– if you have any issues measuring cubits ask Bill Cosby, any other questions talk to Miggs Burroughs!
What’s a cubit?!
Hahahaha! And perhaps outfit that Ark with solar panels, you know, so as to take full advantage of that extra intense solar energy coming through our hole in the ozone! Gotta be innovative, after all, in the face of “global change”.
“Ah, but if the world were still flat, and the sun be but still but a god, then we could hence be blissfully naive and unaccountable for that which occurs”.

Sorry, Jill. It’s the best I could do with my iPhone (and limited photographic talents!)
I think it’s a wonderful picture.
I think the message of the day is that you shouldn’t kill yourself making a living
I think the message is to be grateful for the labor that honest workers put in to make this a prosperous country.
That’s it in a nutshell, Nick.
“Don’t screw up Compo Beach”.
Wow, that is a beautiful sight…
