Westport artist Miggs Burroughs took a photo collage posted on “06880″ yesterday — one I found on Facebook — and turned it into a simple, but very powerful, message:

Think.
Then pass it on.

Miggs has a natural brilliance…I asked him once how he comes up with all these ideas and logos. He said he didn’t know, that he would just think about the subject and it would come to him. Nice.
Nice guy, too.

Dan, please stop using this fantastic website to politicize the tragedy. As a Newtown resident who used to live in Westport, I visit your site every day. All of the political posturing is not what our town needs right now.
Yes, a time to be silent and a time to speak…and when we speak, may it be with a powerful voice. Migg’s poster could become the icon for action on many fronts, not limited to just firearms control and better mental health services.
